Peter started his new job this week at the Nashville Zoo. He's their Sales and Catering Manager. He really enjoys this new adventure. He told me the other day how cool it was to go to work and have the zebras welcome you. I thought that was really neat. Of all people who's allergic to animal hair, I never saw him working alongside animals everyday! I thank God that He put Peter in this job. I think it really suits his personality and it's something he will really enjoy for a long time. So, if you're ever out that way, you may see him there.
Here's Isabella teaching daddy how to type on the keyboard. They weren't really ready for this photo, but I thought it was cute anyway.

Every month on the 11th I try to take a picture. I've done it since she was born. This is her 7 month picture I took on the couch this week. I can't believe how big she is getting! She's started making this silly face recently so I had to post this one. Not quite sure what it means yet. :)

Here's the latest of Isabella's "walking". She's very good at going round and round in her play gym. Her Gigi got her her first pair of walking shoes today. She's a size 3 1/2! She loved them. She'll be flying in her walker now!

Here we are at Stride Rite.

She is getting around so good in her walker now!
I think she's proud of herself too. She has also learned
how to crawl backwards on the floor. It's so cute. Check
out her video. She had some wild hair going on ...

Isabella's 6 month photo shoot

Thanks to my wonderful friend Alison, these pictures were created. Her husband Josh took these in their home a couple of weeks ago. Isabella was so tired during this shoot, we could barely get her to smile. But she did give us a few little ones. I work with Alison at MCE and her little girl Maggie (shown in the pic with Isabella) is also 6 months old. It was really funny watching them together. Isabella is just growing so fast! I can't believe she's about ready for the crawling stage. Hope you enjoy the pics.

Life with little Isabella

Isabella is such a precious gift from God. Her daddy and I love her so much. We have so much love to give her everyday and she gives so much back to us. I never knew how much a child can really teach you things about God's love for His children. I have picked up on so many of life's lessons since she's come into our world about God's love for us. It's hard to imagine God's love for me. It's a trillion times more than I could ever imagine. I love being a mom and I'm a better wife, teacher, and friend because of it. It's truly the best role a woman could ever have.
